Growing Instructions

Climate: 13–25°C ideal. Growth ke liye thanda mausam, bulb formation ke liye garam aur dry mausam
Soil: Well-drained loamy / sandy loam soil. Waterlogging aur heavy clay se bachein
Land Preparation: 2–3 deep ploughing, 15–20 ton FYM per acre, raised beds ya ridges banayein
Sowing Time (Kharif): Nursery May–June, Transplanting July–August
Sowing Time (Rabi): Nursery October–November, Transplanting December–January
Seed Rate: 3–4 kg per acre (nursery)
Transplanting: 45–50 din ke seedlings
Spacing: 15 × 10 cm
Fertilizer (per acre): NPK 40:20:20 kg, nitrogen split doses mein
Irrigation: Transplanting ke turant baad, phir har 7–10 din mein. Harvest se 10–15 din pehle band karein
Pest Management: Thrips, maggot → Neem oil / Spinosad
Disease Management: Purple blotch, downy mildew → Mancozeb / Carbendazim
