2. Reporting Window

Returns or replacements will be processed only if the issue is reported within 48 hours of receiving the order.

For products that differ from the website description, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Requests reported after the applicable window may not be accepted.

3. Unboxing Video Requirement

For claims related to damage, defects, missing items, or wrong product received, customers must provide:

  • A continuous unboxing video recorded at the time of opening the package
  • The video must clearly show the sealed outer packaging, shipping label, and the condition of the product inside
  • Photographs of the damaged product and packaging

Claims without valid unboxing video proof may be rejected at our sole discretion.

4. Eligible Cases for Return / Replacement / Exchange

We may accept a return, replacement, or exchange if:

Returns will be processed only if:

  • The product was not damaged while in your possession
  • The product matches what was shipped and has not been tampered with
  • The product is returned in its original condition, including original packaging, MRP label, batch details, and accessories (if any)
  • The product has not been opened, used, or sown (except where inspection is required for damage verification)

5. Seed-Specific Policy

As an agricultural seeds business, the following conditions apply specifically to seed products:

5.1 No Refund for Germination Failure

Seed germination and crop performance depend on factors including soil quality, climate, temperature, moisture, fertilization, pest control, sowing method, and overall farm management.

We do not guarantee germination rates, crop yield, or harvest outcomes. Refunds or returns will not be provided for:

  • Low or no germination after sowing
  • Poor crop performance or yield
  • Seeds sown incorrectly or outside the recommended season/region
  • Damage caused by improper storage after delivery

5.2 Eligible Seed Returns

Seed products may be returned or replaced only if:

  • The package was received damaged, tampered, or opened before delivery (refuse delivery and report immediately)
  • The wrong seed variety or quantity was shipped
  • The product is past its expiry date at the time of delivery (verified upon inspection)
  • The package seal was intact but the product inside was found defective upon opening (with unboxing video proof within 48 hours)

5.3 Opened Seed Packets

Once a seed packet has been opened or sown, it cannot be returned or exchanged except where a manufacturing defect is proven and verified by our team.

6. Non-Eligible Cases for Return

Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse (e.g., ordered wrong variety, changed cropping plan)
  • Product no longer needed after delivery
  • Normal variation in seed size, colour, or appearance that does not affect quality
  • Germination failure or poor crop results after sowing
  • Damage caused by improper storage, handling, or use after delivery
  • Products returned without original packaging or with tampered labels
  • Claims reported after the 48-hour window
  • Claims without required unboxing video or photographic proof

Note: If you still wish to return a product due to personal preference (where permitted), forward and return courier charges will be deducted from any applicable refund. Such returns are subject to our approval and product condition upon receipt.

7. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@sagarbiotechpvtltd.in or +91 90810 98686
  2. Provide your order ID, registered mobile number, and a description of the issue
  3. Attach unboxing video and photographs as required
  4. Our customer support team will review your request and respond within 2–3 working days
  5. If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup through Selloship or provide return shipping instructions
  6. Pack the product securely in its original packaging with all labels intact
  7. Hand over the package to the assigned courier pickup executive

Replacement dispatch will be initiated only after we receive confirmation that the return item has been picked up and is in transit back to us, or after inspection at our facility — whichever is applicable.

Customers are encouraged to share proof of handover or pickup receipt from the courier to expedite the replacement process.

8. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are available for eligible cases (wrong product, defective item, damaged item) subject to stock availability. If the requested replacement product is unavailable, we will offer:

  • An alternative product of equal value (with your consent), or
  • A full or partial refund as applicable

Only one exchange per order line item will be processed unless otherwise approved by our team.

9. Inspection and Approval

All returned products are inspected at our facility upon receipt. We reserve the right to:

  • Approve or reject a return based on the product condition and policy compliance
  • Offer a partial refund where the product shows signs of use or damage caused after delivery
  • Provide a replacement instead of a refund at our discretion

You will be notified via email or SMS regarding the approval or rejection of your return request.

10. Refund Timeline for Approved Returns

For approved returns, refunds will be processed as follows:
